Conservative group announces endorsements

The Bakersfield Republican Assembly announced its endorsements in various local races Tuesday.

The group said it backs people who are a “social and fiscal conservative” and receive a two-thirds vote of the Assembly members present. The primary is June 3.
Those endorsed were:
Superior Court Judge Office 24: Olaf Landsgaard.
Superior Court Judge Office 30: Matt Brady.
Kern County Supervisor, 4th District: Ray Watson.
Kern County Republican Central Committee, 4th District: Ken Mettler, Jack Duncan.
U.S. Congress, 20th District: Republican challenger Jim Lopez.
U.S. Congress 22nd District: Republican incumbent Kevin McCarthy.
State Assembly, 30th District: Republican Danny Gilmore.
State Assembly 32th District: Republican incumbent Jean Fuller.
