More than 40 vehicles were towed by in Wasco on Thursday for having expired registration.

Wasco deputies and code enforcement officers also gave 54 citations for various vehicle code violations in the sweep, deputies said.
All vehicles towed had expired registration of at least six months, deputies said. Some had expired by more than five years.
