Deputies arrested a woman over the weekend in connection with the drunken driving death of a 76-year-old man.

Donna Kathleen Brinkman, 44, was arrested Feb. 16 on a warrant at a home in the 3100 block of Tomlinson Street, said Senior Deputy Mark King with the Kern County Sheriff’s Department.
Brinkman is accused of second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and several DUI-related counts, according to Kern County Superior Court records.
Brinkman is accused of driving drunk on July 28 of last year and hitting Robert Morrison on Highway 33 in McKittrick, according to the Taft Midway Driller.
Brinkman is being held on a $250,000 bond, according to court records. She was scheduled for a court hearing today.
