Bill Thomas, R-Bakersfield and to the system of roads that will be partially constructed with that money. Local match - Local money needed to “match” the Thomas money and secure the federal funds.Local money – Funding from local sources such as land developer impact fees and the local share of state transportation money that is needed to finish projects that aren’t fully funded by the TRIP money.Future funding — Local money the city does not yet have but believes will be available in time to fund TRIP projects. Unfunded — Money the city has not identified a way to acquire. Unfunded TRIP projects are not scheduled to be constructed.
