Many job seekers were able to get a one-on-one interview during the JobFest job fair held at the Rabobank Convention Center Tuesday.

Thousands of people lined up early Tuesday morning outside the Rabobank Convention Center with one goal in mind — land a job.

About 150 employers were on hand offering more than 3,000 positions during an event dubbed Bakersfield JobFest. The Department of Human Services said more than 2,900 people went through the event, which was record attendance.
