It must be good if it's lasted 25 years. Anglers started casting their lines early Saturday morning during the Isabella Lake Fishing Derby, hoping to reel in some trout and maybe even one of 500 tagged money fish.

Put on by the Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce, the event is known for family fun and a great weekend getaway.

The derby continues until 4 p.m. Monday. Find details at isabellafishingderby.org.
