A variety of dogs tested their luck Saturday at the Kern County Fairgrounds during the Luck of the Splash Dogs competition.

People tossed a toy off a dock at the end of a pool for their dogs to try to grab by jumping for it, and earning points in the process. The event was put on by Bako Bullyz.

Californian photographer Casey Christie shares these images of the fun.
