American Legion Post 26 held a Flag Burning Ceremony on Friday.

A post news release said the purpose of the ceremony is "to encourage proper respect for the Flag of the United States and to provide for disposal of unserviceable flags in a dignified manner."

It's also called The Ceremony for Disposal of Unserviceable Flags.
