Participants are ready for the start of the Color Me Rad race at the Kern County Fairgrounds in February.

Many started the race wearing white. But by the end of the 5K Color Me Rad on Saturday, they were covered in a rainbow of colors.

The run took place at the Kern County Fairgrounds. Along the race course, packets of color were tossed at runners and walkers.

Photographer Nick Ellis shares these images from the event.

And photographer John Harte created and produced our first-ever entirely slow-motion video of the event. Can you find yourself?
