21st Annual Golden Volleyball Camp, July 30–Aug. 2, noon-3 p.m. For Incoming freshmen and eighth graders and younger. Camp will be coached by Centennial High coaches Brooke Roberts, Penny Roberts, Lacey (Roberts) Coppolo, MacKenzie Maxwell, Lauren Alexander, Molly Hansen and Kim Roberts,  along with former Centennial coach Chris Trowbridge and Centennial players who have gone on to play collegiate volleyball. Six students from the Japan Martial Arts Academy of Bakersfield competed in Saturday’s Fresno Martial Arts Championships in Fresno.
