Last Week for Bowlers Edge Pro Shop Christmas Raffle

It’s the final week of the annual Bowlers Edge Pro Shop Christmas Raffle for this year. This week will be the big one as extra gifts are to be given away every night all the way through Sunday (Dec. 23). That is the night the Grand Prize winners, which include: (4) $200 gift certificates to the Bowlers Edge Pro Shop and (1) radio-controlled monster truck. Winners will be announced at approximately 8 p.m.

Once again, bowlers need not be present but they must retain their half of the raffle ticket in order to claim their prize. Winning tickets drawn to date are posted in the glass case across from the front desk of Regency Lanes Bowling Center.  You can also check out the radio-controlled monster truck there on display. There are still four four unclaimed $100 weekly winners, so be sure to check your tickets and good luck!

Tickets may also be purchased all this week during the day at the front desk at Regency Lanes.

As in years past, winners need not be present and tickets are on sale at the front desk at Regency Bowling Center during business hours.

In Search of the Oldest Bowling Ball

We are currently looking for the oldest bowling ball that is still being used for league play. Do you know of a bowling teammate or friend that still uses the same bowling ball they have for years that they are currently using when they bowl in your league?

The oldest one we’ve found so far is a bowler who is still using a ball that she got in 1962. If you know of someone who can go back further than 1962, please email me, or call me (661) 589-3119. We will reveal who has the oldest active bowling ball in town by the end of January.
