(9) Fresno-Washington Union
(3) Visalia-Mt. Whitney
First impressions: This was the only bracket where there was any question at all about the No. 1 seed, but the committee rewarded Ridgeview and its 8-2 season against very difficult schedule and made 9-1 Dinuba the No. 2. The Wolf Pack's reward is that they avoid the Emperors and Mt. Whitney until the final. However, there are four really solid teams in this division, and Ridgeview probably is going to have to mess with Independence for the second time this season in the semifinals. The Falcons were within a touchdown of the Wolf Pack late in the first meeting and have been toughened by an SWYL schedule. That's definitely one to watch.
Early prediction: Semifinals: Ridgeview d. Independence; Dinuba d. Mt. Whitney
Championship: Ridgeview d. Dinuba
