Hundreds of talented young musicians will take the stage Thursday at Rabobank Convention Center for the 34th annual Junior High Music Makers Music Festival Concert.

Nearly 900 talented young band, choral and orchestral musicians from the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District, including Actis, Stonecreek, Tevis, Thompson and Warren junior high schools, will perform at the annual free concert.

A variety of fine music will be featured during the show, from traditional band literature including the “Host of Freedom” to the more contemporary film musical score of “Batman” and "You are Not Alone" from the Broadway musical "Dear Evan Hansen." All groups will team for the grand finale of the “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” complete with the massive American flag flown overhead.

Celebrate the bright young stars of tomorrow today by attending the concert, which starts at 7 p.m. at the convention center, 1001 Truxtun Ave. Admission is free.
