It was like a family reunion Sunday at Kern Pioneer Village as the Haggard family came together to celebrate the restoration of the boxcar home built by James and Flossie Haggard. The home was moved to the museum in 2015 and officially opened Sunday for public tours.

Thank you for having this event it was an amazing day of memories Merle is a legend that will live on in the hearts of many it was great to see his family share their story's of the past for me it was a day I will never forget
