Anime fans have likely had this weekend marked on their calendar for a year, but for those who haven't heard: Bak-Anime is back.

Bak-Anime, Bakersfield's anime convention, will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Kern County Fairgrounds. There will be vendors, artists, panels, a cosplay contest, card game tournaments, a swap meet and more.

The convention will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $20 on Saturday, $15 on Sunday or $25 for the whole weekend. Children 8 years old and younger get in for free.

Celebrity guests will be actor David Yost (best known as Billy, the Blue Ranger, on "The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" series), voice actor Liam O'Brien (who has worked on "Star Wars Rebels," "Avengers Assemble" and "The Last of Us"), voice actor Josh Petersdorf (who has worked on "Overwatch" and "World of Warcraft," as well as characters at Universal Studios Hollywood) and actor/writer Feodor Chin (of "Overwatch," "Regular Show" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows").

Each day will have a variety of panels and signings with celebrity guests, as well as other activities like belly dancing and cosplay contests. A variety of vendors and artists will have booths set up to sell their wares.

Notable activities include a swap meet at 6 p.m. on Saturday and a murder mystery on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
