With the fall semester underway at Bakersfield College, its culinary arts students at are hard at work at the on-campus restaurant Renegade Room, which opened Sept. 6.

From now until Nov. 30, the student-run facility will serve dinner on Tuesdays and Thursdays and lunch on Wednesdays. Led by staff chefs, students manage every aspect of the operation, from chef to line cook to server.

Wednesday lunches, offered a choice among two to three dishes, are served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., ranging from $8.95 to $12.95 (depending on the dish). Prices do not include beverage or tax.
