Avalon Cabernet Sauvignon

Black Angus Steakhouse is one of a number of restaurants celebrating National Cabernet Day on Thursday. It will offer half-off any bottle of cabernet (with the purchase of an entree) and $2 off any 6-ounce glass or 9-ounce carafe of cabernet. Of course, Black Angus recommends pairing the red wine with a steak.

Cheers! Thursday is National Cabernet Day, paying tribute to the full-bodied and fruity cabernet sauvignon. For local oenophiles and occasional imbibers, that is a reason to celebrate.

And, yes, we want to have fun but won't that wine be just a bit more satisfying if there's a deal to be had? Of course, it will. Tahlia Fischer, a local distributor for Wine Warehouse, helped us track down some local deals to enjoy on the big day.
