This holiday season, the Bakersfield Art Association is bringing art to shoppers, taking part in a pop-up shop at the Outlets at Tejon.

The Pottery Barn has extended an invitation to the Bakersfield Art Association to showcase local artists in their store starting Saturday.

Floyd R. Dillon will be this weekend's featured artist, showing some of his smaller works created over the past few years ranging from florals to animals. He has permanent art displays at the Bakersfield Art Association Art Center, 1607 19th St.

Photographer Marsha Black's work will be displayed Nov. 25. at the pop-up shop, held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Black's photographic cards and prints will be available for sale, complementing the upscale furniture chain's other wares of bed and bath items, tableware, lighting and other home goods.

The Pottery Barn Outlet Store is located at Suite 100 at the outlets, 701 Outlets at Tejon Parkway off Interstate 5. For more information on the art association, visit bakersfieldartassociation.org.
