First through sixth graders enjoy Summer Science Camp at the museum!
Participate in a variety of science sessions designed especially for kids. Enjoy six weeks of 12 different fun filled grade appropriate sessions exploring the world of science and history. Space is limited to 24 students per session.
June 25th through 28th will be Archaeology/Anthropology for first through third and fourth through sixth graders. Students learn how Ancient people and Native Americans lived, what they ate, how they cooked and survived.
There will be no camp held the week of Fourth of July, July second through July sixth. Visit the fireworks booth located at the East Hills Target parking lot.
Camp will resume July ninth through July twelfth with a Junior Detective/CSI session for fist through third graders. Students learn to problem solve using the forensic techniques that the police and other investigators use to solve mysteries of crimes stories! Forth through sixth graders will learn about animals including their: Habitats, food, structure and bones.
July 16th through July 19th will be Shark Week for first through third graders and forth through sixth graders. Students will learn everything there is to know about Sharks!
July 23rd through July 26th, first through third graders learn about Recycle and Repurpose where students learn to use recycled materials to make useful items. Forth through sixth graders learn about Weird Science and Fun with Junk. Students experiment and use material for recycled items.
July 30th through Aug. 2nd, first through third graders and forth through sixth graders learn about Dino Week! Students learn everything there is to know about Dinosaurs and their prehistoric world.
Aug. 6th through Aug. 9th, first through forth graders learn about Geology and Paleontology with fossils, rocks, and minerals. Fifth through seventh graders will participate in a Junior Docent session. Students learn the museum’s Anthropology, Archaeology, Biology, Paleontology, Geology as well as presentation skills.
$75 for BV Members and $85 for Non-members per student, per session.
