Join in Saturday, November 11th, for a meeting on the November topic, "Best Practices (and other myths) for Effecting Community Change." During this meeting debunk some myths of community change, collaboration and collective impact. Della Hodson, President and CEO of United Way of Kern County, has led this organization through years of evolution, from an organization focused on raising and distributing funding, to becoming a backbone and leader in community change.

The community is invited to a spirited conversation around the hot topic of change. The general meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. and includes breakfast. The meeting will be held at Hodel's, located at 5917 Knudsen Drive.

Reservations are recommended and help the organizers of the meeting. Breakfast is $15 per person. To make a reservation call 634-3773, or e-mail Jill Egland at jill.e@uwkern.org. Those who wish to attend only the program may do so at no cost and should plan to arrive at 8:45 a.m. As always, guests are welcome.
