The Bakersfield sewer ponds are a great location to see wintering ducks, shorebirds and raptors as well as learn from experienced local birders.

Meet at the treatment plant gate on the south end of Mt. Vernon off Highway 58 where the road ends at 9 a.m.

This is a Audubon Field Trip with a driving location so there will be tours in as few vehicles as possible. Please bring walkie-talkies to communicate between vehicles.

Gary File will be leading this event.
