Kern Schools Federal Credit Union is holding its annual Community Recycling Day April 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 11500 Bolthouse Drive, in the Kern Schools administrative parking lot.

This free event allows the community to drop off personal shred, recyclables, e-waste, large bulky items and more. Accepted items include gently used bicycles, nonworking appliances, used shoes and unusable furniture. Not accepted are light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, batteries, paint and oil.
