Are crops fertilized with biosolids fed to animals?

Q: I also have a question of the biosolids. These non-edible crops (that are fertilized with biosolids), what are they being used for? Are they being fed to livestock, so in essence we are still consuming this discussing stuff?

A: You're right, some of the crops fertilized with biosolids are fed to livestock, said Matt Constantine, director of the Kern County Public Health Department. And yes, he also said, there is a debate out there over whether that's safe given humans sometimes eat that livestock.
