Congratulations to the members of Tribal Moon/Sister Moon Rising for creating a successful sisterhood here in Bakersfield. Bringing art and the love of dance to our hometown again is a great accomplishment. Your friends, families, brothers and sisters in dance look forward to watching you perform on your 1 year anniversary.
Born just a year ago almost to the day, Tribal Moon Rising has grown into something beautiful. These talented women, working to bring belly dancers from Bakersfield and all over the country to one stage, have earned their place.
Heather, Melynie, Roxanne (Tribal Moon Rising), along with (Sister Moon Rising) MarLuna, Jeriah, Melissa, Jessica, Destiny, Nyoka, (Not Shown: ) Idalia, Patty, Helen, Arzel, Laurie, Margie, and Amber have created their own family here in Bakersfield. They have devoted their talents and dedicated their time to making this happen. They have grown into being the confident dancers and the courages women that they are today. They stand up in order to lead and encourage dancers of all skills and ages…..to just dance!
