OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Two members of a West Oakland gang who opened fire on people making a music video and left a child dead have been sentenced to 43 years each in prison.

Federal authorities say Dionte Houff and Houston Nathaniel III were sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty last year to racketeering conspiracy, attempted murder and other crimes.

Authorities said the two were involved in two shootings in November 2011 that wounded several people.

One injured a man who was riding a bicycle through gang territory.

Authorities say the two also opened fire on a crowd that had gathered to film a music video. Seven people were wounded, including a child who later died.
