MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota men's basketball team has signed three Twin Cities area recruits to national letters of intent to join the program for the 2018-19 season.

The recruiting class was finalized on Friday, including: Gabe Kalscheur, a 6-foot-4 guard at DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis; 6-foot-8 forward Jarvis Omersa from Orono High School; and 6-foot-10 center Daniel Oturu of Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul. According to a composite tally by 247Sports, the Gophers have the 22nd-ranked recruiting class in the nation.

Oturu comes with the most acclaim, a consensus top-40 recruit in the country. He averaged 18.6 points and 14.7 rebounds for the Raiders on 63.1 percent shooting last season.
