METAIRIE, La. (AP) -- Orlando Arcia hit a run-scoring double in the third inning, leading the Colorado Springs Sky Sox to a 3-2 win over the New Orleans Baby Cakes on Thursday.

Quintin Torres-Costa got Austin Nola to hit into a double play with a runner on first to end the game for his second save of the season.

Brett Phillips scored on Arcia's double to give the Sky Sox a 1-0 lead after he reached base on a walk.

After Col. Springs added two runs, the Baby Cakes cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when JB Shuck hit a sacrifice fly and Tomas Telis hit an RBI single.

Col. Springs starter Aaron Brooks (6-3) picked up the win after allowing just three hits over five scoreless innings. Opposing starter Dillon Peters (2-5) took the tough loss in the Pacific Coast League game after giving up two runs and five hits over five innings.

With the win, Col. Springs improved to 10-3 against New Orleans this season.
