CONCORD, Calif. (AP) — Cerus Corp. (CERS) on Thursday reported a loss of $11.5 million in its fourth quarter.

The Concord, California-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents per share.

The biomedical products company posted revenue of $16.2 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $60.6 million, or 56 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $43.6 million.

Cerus expects full-year revenue in the range of $51 million to $53 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $4.77. A year ago, they were trading at $3.91.
