IRVINE, Calif. (AP) — AutoWeb Inc. (AUTO) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $65.8 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Irvine, California-based company said it had a loss of $5.22 per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and pretax expenses, came to 1 cent per share.

The provider of marketing services for automakers and dealers posted revenue of $33.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $65 million, or $5.48 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $142.1 million.

AutoWeb shares have decreased 22 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $7.05, a decline of 47 percent in the last 12 months.
