Juan Perez hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the seventh inning to power the Bakersfield Blaze to a 7-5 victory over the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in Sunday's California League game at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

Sebastian Elizalde added a solo shot for Bakersfield in the eight. Perez and Elizalde each had two hits along with Brent Peterson, Marquez Smith and Jeff Gelalich.

It was Bakersfield's second straight win. The Blaze defeated the Quakes 10-7 on Saturday night.
