Elliott Blair hit two homer, including one with a man aboard in a 4-run seventh to lead the San Jose Giants to a 9-2 victory over the Bakersfield Blaze in Thursday night's California League game at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

Mac Williamson followed Blair's homer with a solo blast for the Giants (7-8).

San Jose pounded out 16 hits, while the Blaze managed just four hits, but were on base all night thanks to nine Giants' walks.

Kyle Waldrop had two hits, including a double to lead the Blaze (11-4). Zach Vincej walked three times and drove in Bakersfield's first run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning.

Trailing 4-1, the Blaze trimmed San Jose's lead when Marquez Smith walked, moved to third on a double by John Tolisano and scored on a wild pitch.
