Bakersfield closed out its home schedule in style, with starter James Allen and three relievers combining to one-hit the Stockton Ports on Thursday night, winning 4-1 in the Blaze's final game at Sam Lynn Ballpark this season.

Allen worked six innings and allowed the Ports' only hit -- a solo homer to Bruce Maxwell in the second inning. From there, it was smooth sailing for him and relievers Ben Klimesh, Carlos Gonzalez and Pat Doyle. Allen walked three and struck out five, while Klimesh walked one and struck out one. Doyle worked the ninth for his 11th save of the season.

Juan Silverio had two hits, including the first of back-to-back homers with Juan Duran in the fifth inning. Juan Perez also had two hits and an RBI.

Bakersfield native Brent Peterson was 2 for 4 on Thursday night, but was also caught stealing. The Ports' Dusty Robinson, also a Bakersfield native, was 0 for 3.
