The Lancaster JetHawks scored all of their runs in the third inning and held off the Bakersfield Blaze 3-2 Monday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

Losing pitcher Jon Moscot (1-14) allowed a leadoff single to Brandon Meredith to open the third. Nolan Fontana drew a two-out walk and Andrew Aplin hit his eighth home run of the season, a three-run shot to right field.

The Blaze scored its two runs in the fourth. Ryan Wright singled to center with one out and Steve Selsky drove his 11th homer of the season over the center field wall.

The Blaze had a chance to tie it in the fifth when Danny Vicioso and Juan Silva singled with two outs, but Junior Arias grounded out to end the inning.

Bakersfield had only two baserunners the rest of the game.
