Bakersfield belted 10 extra-base hits in a 13-7 victory over the Visalia Rawhide at Sam Lynn Ballpark on Monday night.

Ryan Wright, Yorman Rodriguez, Steve Selsky and Juan Duran each homered and the Blaze connected on six doubles (two by Kyle Waldrop). Wright's and Rodriguez's homers gave Bakersfield a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

After Visalia scored two in the third inning to take a 3-2 lead, Bakersfield rallied for six runs in the fourth.

Bakersfield starter Mike Dennhardt (3-5) allowed three runs (two earned) and seven hits over six innings, striking out three and walking two.

Bakersfield totaled 19 hits on the night, with seven players with two or more hits. Wright went 3-for-5 with a double, homer, two runs and four RBIs.

Oaks top Sound, 5-2

Joshua Hickle and AJ Steimel homered for Bakersfield as the Sound fell to the Conejo Oaks, 5-2 at Bakersfield Christian High in a California Collegiate League game.

Sound starter Travis Beck allowed five runs (two earned) over six innings. He allowed five hits, struck out six and walked three.

Cody Ramer and Wes Van Book each had two RBIs for the Oaks, which led 5-0 after two innings. Bakersfield visits the North County Indians at Templeton High tonight at 6.
