Brennan Newberry of Bakersfield qualified 15th for today's ARCA Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway.

Newberry will be making his first start at the 21/2-mile track as will 19 other drivers in the lineup.

John Wes Townley took the pole at 181.313 mph on Friday. Milka Duno, who previously competed on the IndyCar series starts second.

Newberry averaged 177.708 mph.

The race will be shown live on Speed, starting at 1:30 p.m.
