Five Bakersfield Jam players scored in double figures in a 103-88 victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce (10-7) 103-88 on the first day of the NBA D-League Showcase at the Reno Events Center.

The showcase is a four-day extravaganza of games involving all 16 D-League teams.

Bakersfield (11-6), which led 58-43 at intermission, outrebounded Sioux Falls 57-38 and outscored the Skyforce 52-32 in the lane.

For Bakersfield, Jerel McNeal scored 18 points, dished out five assists and grabbed five rebounds while Renaldo Major and Shan Foster scored 18 apiece. Foster made four 3-pointers. Damion James added 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks. Reserve guard Stephen Dennis finished with 11 points, five rebounds and four assists.

The Jam next plays the Maine Red Claws at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
