Bakersfield Police are asking for the community's help identifying and locating this older model custom chopper that they said was used by a suspect wanted for assault causing great bodily injury at 4 p.m. April 26 in the 1100 block of South P Street.

Police say the victim of an unprovoked attack last week suffered a traumatic head injury.

The incident occurred at 4 p.m. April 26 when a man struck the victim in the face with his elbow, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital.

The attack happened in the 1100 block of South P Street, south of Belle Terrace and west of South Union Avenue.

The suspect is described as white, 30-40 years old, about 6 feet tall, reddish-blond curly hair, gray full beard/goatee, wearing a black baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black riding boots. Police said the suspect vehicle is an older model custom chopper with unknown license plate.
