Two of the three individuals who allegedly stole items from the Target store at Valley Plaza Mall on April 17 were arrested last week after a tip to a store employee, police said.

The suspects were wanted on suspicion of robbery and theft following an incident in which they entered the store with backpacks, allegedly placed items in them and then fled, pushing an employee in the process, according to Bakersfield police.

The tip came Thursday when someone identified two of the suspects to a Target employee. The employee then told police.

A male and female juvenile were arrested April 24 on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy. They were booked into Kern County Juvenile Hall.

Through additional investigation police identified the third suspect, an adult.

Police have submitted a complaint to the Kern County District Attorney's Office for alleged theft by that suspect.
