A Kern County teacher busted three times for drunken driving since 2011 was arrested again early Thursday on a warrant charging her with two felonies and a misdemeanor.

Brandi Lynn Sherman, 38, was booked shortly after midnight on charges of DUI with three or more convictions within 10 years, DUI with an enhancement and driving with a license that was suspended or revoked because of a DUI, according to court records. She's being held on $117,500 bail.

Sherman is on paid administrative leave from Sillect Community School and was scheduled to resign effective Sept. 30. She taught ninth through 12th grades at Sillect, a year-round public school program operated by Kern County Superintendent of Schools.

She pleaded guilty to DUI in February 2011, and no contest to DUIs in March 2011 and September 2012. Sherman was hired by KCSOS in August 2006.

Superintendent of Schools spokesman Rob Meszaros has said he couldn't discuss Sherman's situation further because it's a personnel matter.

Sherman's arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
