CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is recruiting volunteers in eastern Kern County. CASA Advocates are trained citizens appointed by a judge to represent the best interest of a child in court. The advocates are the eyes and ears for the judge and the voice of a child who has been the victim of abuse or neglect.
