Centennial High graduate Dusty Robinson capped a perfect night at the plate with a 3-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to lift the Stockton Ports to a 3-0 victory Saturdasy night over the Bakersfield Blaze at Sam Lynn Ballpark.
Robinson, who struck out a California League record seven times in a game earlier this week, was 3-for-3 with a walk to improve his season average to .212.
It was Robinson's sixth home run of the season.
Bakersfield managed just three hits in losing its second straight game.
Mike Dennhardt and Carlos Gonzalez combined on eight scoreless innings for the Blaze before Robinson homered of Kyle McMyne, who walked the first two batters he faced in the ninth.

AUSTIN, Texas -- Sometimes you really do have to blame it on the rain.
Trying to compete in pouring rain Saturday at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field West Preliminary Round, Cal State Bakersfield senior Thomas Judge fouled out of the hammer competition to end his season.
With slippery conditions that are far from ideal, Judge fouled on all three of his attempts. The weather has caused problems throughout the regional meet, including delaying the hammer competition from Friday because of lightning.
The Garces graduate leaves CSUB as a two-time Great West Conference hammer champion and the GWC record holder. He first set the record with a toss of 184 feet, 2 inches in 2012 and then broke his own record while defending his title earlier this month with a throw of 190-09. Judge's career-best mark of 194-05 ranks 10th best in school history.
Bakersfield College freshman Kyle Nixon was named to the CCCBCA Southern California All-American team.
The Frontier High graduate recovered from a hamstring injury to lead the Renegades with a .371 batting average, collecting nine doubles and three triples as the team's lead-off hitter and centerfielder.
Nixon is now eligible for national honors, which will be voted on by the American Baseball Coaches Association next month, according to BC coach Tim Painton.
John Piker won the Sport Mods main event, finishing ahead of David Childress and Jared Schweitzer, who were second and third, respectively.
Other feature race winners include: Charlie Huff (Okie Bowl Hard Tops), Jacob Shepherd (Min Stock), Jerry Flippo (Sr. mini dwarfs) and Troy Morris III (Jr. mini dwarfs).
