No. 1-ranked USC's water polo team will play at Cal State Bakersfield at noon on Saturday, the first time the Roadrunners have hosted a top-ranked team in any sport since CSUB moved to Division I status in 2007.

It is part of the second Roadrunner Invitational that starts today.

"Playing host to USC, the No. 1 team in the country, doesn't happen very often," CSUB coach Jason Gall said.

"We have not shied away from any of the top teams this year."

The powerful Trojans will bring a 16-0 record into town. CSUB is 8-17.
