Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for robbery.

At 4:12 p.m. Jan. 31, the suspect entered the Albertsons at 1520 Brundage Lane, took food and entered the restroom where he concealed the merchandise. Upon leaving the restroom, the suspect was confronted by a store employee, at which time the suspect brandished a knife.

The suspect then ran from the business and left in a black 4-door Dodge Charger with tinted windows.

The suspect is described as black, 22 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180-200 pounds, with a tattoo of a tear drop on his face. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath and jeans.
