Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for annoying a child.

At 3:42 p.m. Jan. 9, the suspect drove his vehicle near the juvenile victim in the 4200 block of Pin Oak Park Boulevard, got out of the vehicle and asked the victim to get inside. The victim refused and walked away from the suspect.

The suspect got back in his vehicle and followed the victim for half a block. The victim ran from the suspect and was contacted by a concerned citizen as the suspect left the area.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his 30s, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with salt and pepper shoulder-length hair, wearing a yellow T-shirt, blue jeans and white running shoes.

The vehicle the suspect was occupying is described as a black, older model, 4-door vehicle with chrome wheels with a Maltese cross located in the center of them.
