Caltrans has upgraded its trip planning website so travelers can see planned lane closures on highways throughout the state.
"Thanks to this upgrade, motorists can plan to avoid scheduled lane closures on statewide routes before they even get on the road," Caltrans Director Malcolm Dougherty said in a news release. "This information will allow travelers to adjust their trip plan so they can get where they're going more quickly."
You can search statewide, by region, county or highway and look at specific dates, times and types of closures.
