A Kern County jury Monday convicted Franklin Randle, Tyrin Blount and Clifford Jackson, Jr. of residential burglary and active gang participation, according to a District Attorney's office news release.

On April 10, the 58-year-old victim was at home with her daughter and 12-year-old grandson when the defendants pounded repeatedly on the front door, the news release said. The victim called 911 and while she was on the phone the defendants kicked open the front door.

The victim's daughter confronted the defendants, who ran from the house as Bakersfield police arrived, according to the news release. All three were arrested a short time later.

Randle and Jackson face 8 years and 8 months in prison, and Blount faces 22 years, 8 months at their Feb. 13 sentencing, the news release said.
