Sheriff's detectives are investigating the death of man who was found partially buried in a creek bed Friday morning, according to Kern County Sheriff's Office news release.
At about 8:30 a.m., a farm laborer working in an orchard on Whisler Road east of Highway 43 found the body in the bed of Poso Creek, according to the news release. The laborer told his supervisor, and the two called the sheriff's office.
The body appeared to have been partially buried for a while, according to the news release. The body has not yet been identified. An investigation is ongoing.
