Bakersfield Police believe the same suspects are responsible for two armed robberies of two different Fastrips on Monday and Wednesday, according to a Bakersfield Police Department news release.

The first robbery was 10:49 p.m. Monday at the Fastrip at 4901 S. Union Ave. Three suspects described as 20- to 30-year-old black males, came into the store, according to the news release. One of the men had a gun and demanded money. The clerk gave them an undisclosed amount of money, and they fled.

Then on Wednesday, the Fastrip at 6401 S. H St. was robbed, according to the news release. In incident, two men went into the store. They fired three shots, once of which hit the window and two of which were fired into the air, according to the news release. A male clerk at the store suffered minor injuries when the suspects assaulted him, according to the news release. The suspects, wearing dark clothing, fled westbound from the store.
