The second of two people convicted of murder in connection with the death of a reputed drug dealer has been sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.

Christopher Charles Cain was sentenced Tuesday for his role in the death of Joe Louis Wooton Jr. Cheri Latisa Glover, who organized the killing because she owed Wooton money, was sentenced Monday to life without parole, according to Kern County Superior Court records.

A jury hung on charges against Kevin Glover, the third defendant.

Wooton was found Dec. 3, 2009, inside a parked vehicle in the 500 block of 28th Street, Bakersfield police said. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
