Aldo Cruz-Trujillo, 26, a Mexican national, pleaded guilty Monday to the production and sale of fraudulent government identification documents.
According to his plea agreement, between November 2011 and February 2012 Cruz-Trujillo met with potential customers in various locations in Bakersfield to take orders for fraudulent documents. Cruz-Trujillo produced and sold completed sets of documents to customers for approximately $120 per set.
Cruz-Trujillo is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 17. The maximum statutory penalty he faces is 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
